Oh my goodness, that ice is so fuzzy looking! We are having unseasonably warm temps lately, which I won’t complain about. I won’t even complain about how muddy it is because of all the rain! It’s better than those icy roads!
I wish it was getting colder here…I won’t tell you where I am because you’d probably get jealous. ha ha That frost looks crystal clear – what kind of camera are you using?
Even tho it is cold in PA- we have yet to have to turn our heat on!
We live in a townhome- and are sandwiched by two homes that keep their heat at 80 (so not joking!) So our house stays a toastie 75!
That frost is beautiful tho!

We are having some strange mild weather here near Buffalo, strange strange. We are going to get it bad when the snow decides to come!
I love that bottom one – it looks almost hairy!
what an absolutely beautiful closeup of the ice crystals! Mother nature is truly amazing!
beautiful pictures!!!
It’s cold here too. I love the picture of frost. Brrr!
I love the picture of the frost in the grass. We have had a few frosty mornings but not a lot considering it’s December.
Where I live here in Iowa (NE corner) it was -7 at 5:30 AM!

Thanks for all the nice comments, guys!
Robin – I think you take the title for “Coldest weather”. Brrr!
Jenn – This is the camera I’m using: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0012YA6P2/ref=as_li_ss_tl?ie=UTF8&tag=contcorn-20&linkCode=as2&camp=1789&creative=390957&creativeASIN=B0012YA6P2
It’s a modest camera that I bought a few years ago, but it’s capable of taking HDR pictures which is what gives these and the beach photos that almost surreal quality. It’s really fun taking HDR photos – there’s more info that explains what it is here: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/High_dynamic_range_imaging
I love the powershot line, they are great cameras, we just bought one similar for our daughter! I’m kind of jealous lol
What an amazing photo opp & shot! We actually had some big ol’ snowflakes pouring down about an hour ago (Knoxville, TN)… 2 days ago it was 70.
Henrietta – I agree, it’s a great camera for the price. It can do a lot with HDR considering it only cost around $100.
And Donna – gotta love that kind of crazy weather! LOL!
