For those of us who don’t have children yet, deciding on a gift can be tricky. What do moms really need? How can you be sure that you’re picking something that is truly practical? Baby Shower Gift Picks will introduce you to cool new products for parents – so whether you are expecting yourself, or just need some suggestions for a nice present, this column will provide you with some ideas!

Dr. Sears

I recently received a box of samples from the Dr. Sears Family Essentials Baby Care line that I wanted to highlight here, because I think they would be the perfect items to tuck into a gift basket for a mom-to-be. These items are practical essentials that every parent needs, making them a welcome gift. After all, you can’t have too many baby wipes, right? 🙂 There are the products which I received:

  • Diaper Rash Cream: Not only is this a great baby shower item, but you can make homemade face paint out of it, too!
  • Baby Wipes: This 72-pack of baby wipes is made from biodegradable bamboo fabric.
  • Wash & Shampoo: This dual-purpose wash can be used on baby’s hair and skin, making it an efficient product for bathtime!
  • Baby Lotion: This baby lotion comes in a citrus scent and is made from all-natural ingredients.
  • Stretch Mark Cream: This is the only item that I will be keeping for myself rather than gifting. Obviously, a stretch mark treatment wouldn’t be a tactful present, and I’d like to use it myself and see how it stacks up to others I’ve tried!

All of these products and more are available to purchase online at DrSearsFamilyEssentials.com.
