Eric Church – “Chief” Album Review

Eric Church

Today, July 26th marks the release date of Chief, the third studio album from current ACM New Solo Vocalist of the Year, Eric Church. Since his debut in 2006, Church has carved out his place as one of the most popular new country artists to hit the scene. On Chief, Church blends his country swagger with a rock sensibility, calling it the most aggressive record he’s made. From the album’s provocative first single “Homeboy” to crowdpleasers like “Drink in My Hand” and the surprisingly sweet “Hungover & Hard Up”, Church secures his place as a country favorite with an album fans are sure to love.

  1. I have never heard of him before…then again, I am a pretty conservative Christian and don’t prefer this genre of music. Sounds interesting though!

  2. I’m not a huge country music fan but if he’s touring with Toby Keith he must be on his way up in the country music world.
    Thanks for the info.
