I’m inspired by:
People, nature, music, art, food. There’s a lot of inspiring stuff out there.  If you’re not inspired, you need to have another look around.

I realized I wanted to play music when:
My dad used to play his acoustic guitar around the fire whenever we were camping when I was a kid.  He’d sing old doo-wop songs about car accidents and upbeat children’s songs about belligerent drunken mice. I suppose that’s when my love for music began.

Four songs you might find on my iPod:
Love is a Battlefield-Pat Benetar
Signed, Sealed, Delivered-Stevie Wonder
Banner-Lights
Going to Chicago-Joe Williams

One word I would use to describe myself:
Particular

The best part of being a musician is:
The feeling that comes off of too many of your crazy fans, packed into too small of a space with no air conditioning after you finish the first song can be the greatest rush in the world.

Right now, I’m most excited about:
We are working on our first full length album right now.  There’s a lot of music that we’re excited about getting out there.  It should be out this fall.

Something most people don’t know about me is:
I can hold my breath for two and a half minutes, and I have webbed toes.

One of my happiest moments was:
When I was a kid, 10 years old or so, my first band was asked to play on the stage at my little town’s annual barbecue and carnival.  We only knew 3 songs, Jailhouse Rock, Stand by Me, and Louie Louie, and none of us knew the lyrics to Louie Louie, and we were awful. But man did I feel cool.

My music is:
Hopeful

In ten years, I see myself:
I’ll probably be in a tour bus heading to the next Imagine Dragons gig.  I couldn’t imagine it any other way.
