No Justice “2nd Avenue” CD Giveaway – Ends 08/02

No Justice - 2nd Avenue

No Justice is a rock/roots band out of Oklahoma that just released their Carved Records debut, 2nd Avenue. And our friends at Total Assault would like to give one lucky Contest Corner reader a copy of the album, so read on!

About No Justice:

“After dominating the Texas and Oklahoma music scenes – from live shows to radio hits – No Justice is proud to release 2nd Avenue, their Carved Records debut. A well-balanced compound of roots and rock, No Justice is ready to take the rest of the country by storm.  ‘We aren’t interested in cookie-cutter bands at this label,’ explains Carved CEO Tim Porter.  ‘We want artists that know how to put on a live show, write great songs and aren’t afraid to work.  No Justice has all three in spades.’

Recorded in Nashville and produced by Dexter Green (Collective Soul), 2nd Avenue has a soulful sound that will appeal to music fans of all genres. ‘No Justice is a diverse band that’s been inspired by a lot of different artists, and because of that we appeal to just about anybody…from cowboys to punk rock chicks,’ says singer Steve Rice. ‘I write about my relationships and what I know.’  The anthemic title track and single ‘2nd Avenue’ is a perfect example of the band’s songwriting talent, blending heartfelt lyrics and melody with crunching guitars and pounding drums. Listen below!

No Justice is currently on tour throughout Texas and the Midwest.  For a full list of tour dates and for more information about the band, visit NoJustice.com or find them on Facebook.  2nd Avenue is available now in stores and online (iTunes / Amazon).”

  1. I’d love to win this because roots/americana music is my absolute favorite music genre. Thanks for the chance!

  2. im from the carolinas and have been listenin to this oklahoma group for along time and i think winning this cd would be a good opportunity for me to get there name out round here where im from… keep up the good music guys!!!

  3. I have been a fan of No Justice for many years. I am pregnant and unable to make it out to get a hold of the new album. I would love a copy of the new cd to add to my Red Dirt Collection and listen to endlessly until I know if front to back and back to front 🙂

  4. I enjoy this type of music – I have never listened to this group before and would love the chance – thank you and fingers crossed!

  5. I’m always open to new music and would love to add this to my collection ….Tiffypoot @ (aol.com)

  6. I live in Chicago. I’ll invite my friends Oprah, Ditka, and of course Barack over to listen to the cd if you mail it to me.

  7. I’d like to win this CD because I think i deserve something free from the band that I drive hours to watch whenever I can. I’ve drove many cases where i’ve spent more hours driving than i actually did in the town where they played. last instance. I drove to Fort Worth, TX just to watch them at Billy Bob’s. That was a 7 hour drive there and back for me. All because their music is amazing and they guys really know how to put on a show. I believe i’ve earned this free cd about 1,000 times over.

  8. Over the years, I’ve come to appreciate many genres of music which may be hard to believe of me since I am deaf/hard of hearing but I haven’t let that stop me from appreciating the finer points of Texas country. “2nd Avenue” sounds like a worthy candidate for my music collection if only I had a copy. Keep carrying the tunes and rock on or there will truly be no justice in this world.

  9. The reason I should win… Well, it all boils down to principals. You think your good friends, do em favors, help promote, take photos, buy em drinks, and for nothing! Can’t even give a free album to their loyal photograper, friend, and fan. If I don’t win, no one should!

Just kidding fellas! The new album is amazingly refreshing! Honest to god truth! If this album doesn’t put you on the “map,” I’ll quit listening to music all together!

  10. I LOVE N.J. I am a No Justice Junkie from way back!! I haven’t heard but a couple of songs off this new one. The ones I have heard I really like!! pick me!!

  11. I would love to win this CD. I saw NO justice last year in Duncan Oklahoma an have been a big fan ever since. I’m know up here at Fort Richardson Alaska an I’m so missing the music. You can’t find it any where up here. Thanks guys 🙂

  12. I’d like to win because I enjoy listening to all types of music and discovering new artists. This group sounds great.

  13. I would love to win this CD because I like Collective Souls music and this is similar to it
