Lafe’s Organic Baby Lotion Review & Giveaway – Ends 09/06

Today’s pick is Lafe’s Organic Baby Lotion!
Lafe’s offer a line of natural products for the whole family. I received a bottle of their Organic Baby Lotion to check out, and I thought it was quite nice. I rubbed a little bit of the lotion into my dry hands, and I found it to be quite moisturizing. This lotion is unscented – I don’t know what baby lotion usually smells like, but the scent of the oils in this reminded me a little of Play-Doh. I wasn’t too keen on the smell at first; however, you don’t notice it once it absorbs into the skin. I actually really like the fact that it is fragrance-free – I think that’s important, because babies have such sensitive skin. According to their website, this lotion is “Free of parabens, propylene glycol, pesticides, SLS, No artificial preservatives, No artificial dyes or colors, Vegan, Cruelty-free, Fragrance-free and hypoallergenic. Estrogenic activity free plastic … no BPA, phthalates or harmful chemicals.” It also says this lotion is 95% certified organic, although I couldn’t find many details on their website about who certifies them – I see the USDA logo on their “About Us” page, so I would presume that they must follow USDA NOP standards, but I would have liked a little more info on that.
All in all, I think this lotion would make a great gift because it is hypoallergenic and will appeal to moms who take an interest in natural products!
