New Products From Luden’s and Chloraseptic: Get Through The School Year (Or a Family Reunion!)

Moisture Drops

Last Saturday, Jai and I attended his annual family reunion in Milwaukie. There was a big group of extended family in attendance – maybe around 50 people – and I had the best time seeing loved ones. I was talking, laughing, and hugging people for 6 straight hours! When we got home, both Jai and I had sore throats from talking so much. Coincidentally enough, just the day before I had received a shipment of complimentary samples from Luden’s and Chloraseptic including Luden’s new Moisture Drops for dry mouth. I didn’t think dry mouth would be a problem for me outside of maybe wanting a cough drop when I was sick, but turns out, I wanted one immediately! Both Jai and I had one of the drops as soon as we got home and quite liked the taste and having something to coat the throat a little bit.

The next morning, I had my Bag-It-Forward party, which several of our family members also attended. Turns out, Jai and I weren’t the only ones with sore throats – Grandma was so hoarse from talking that her voice was croaking! I pulled the bag of Moisture Drops out and offered a drop to anyone who wanted one. Everyone at the party took one, including a friend who hadn’t even been at the reunion but gets dry mouth a lot anyway. Grandma wasn’t sure that she needed one because she carries cough drops in her purse already, but when she realized these were specifically for dry mouth, she thought it was a great idea. Everyone liked them and my aunt commented that they tasted really good.

I’ve actually kept the bag on my desk and had the drops periodically through this week because man, my throat is still sore! I must sound like a motormouth, but there were a ton of people at the reunion I hadn’t seen in a long time so there was just a lot to catch up on. Also, it was extremely hot at the reunion and has been warm here in Seaside too, so I am SUPER dehydrated which I think is also parching my throat. These Moisture Drops are coming in much handier than I would have thought!

Chloraseptic

Also in the package were Chloraseptic’s brand new Warming Sore Throat Spray as well as their Kids Sore Throat spray. I always like having these in the cabinet when I’ve got a cold because I really hate sore throats. I tried the Kid’s spray in Grape and it had an amenable flavor and worked like a throat spray should. Throat sprays won’t magically get rid of my sore throat, but it does help ease the discomfort a bit. The warming action of the new Warming Sore Throat spray is nice, and it also comes with an improved sprayer that works well to help target the spray better. This will be great for flu season, as I really love “Warming” products for those winter colds.

So whether you are preparing a back-to-school package for your favorite teacher, stocking the cabinet in anticipation of flu season, or just need to recover from a big family event – Luden’s and Chloraseptic might have some useful products for you!

  1. how did you know my daughter woke up with a sore throat this morning? 2 weeks into school and already sick. Thanks for the review!

  2. I need to look for the spray because I either have allergies or am coming down with a cold. Ahhh!
