Muay Thai Training in Thailand: A Train-Cation!

Muay Thai Training in Thailand: A Train-Cation!

This is a sponsored post.

Recently, I wrote a post introducing Suwit Muay Thai, a destination Muay Thai training camp based in Phuket, Thailand – or as I call it, a “Train-cation”! You know, martial arts training on vacation?! OK, I’ll stop with the bad puns now. 😉 At any rate, they just got a new website online for the training camp at SuwitMuayThai.com, which features several YouTube videos of camp guests training, along with footage of the rooms and pool. Check it out!

If you’ve been following my Instagram or Twitter account lately, then you’ve seen my many adventures traveling on the East coast over the last week – I love visiting new places and having one-of-a-kind experiences, so I really think the concept behind this bootcamp is cool! As with any overseas traveling, it’s important to carefully look into any place where you intend to stay; for the right person, I think visiting a martial arts bootcamp in another country could be a really fun way to see a new place and learn a life skill. I don’t think my knees are up to it just yet, but I’d love to take a Muay Thai class sometime in the future. Since beginning our “Couples Challenge” earlier this week, I’ve been excited about where my athletic ability will be by the end of the summer. I love the Suwit Muay Thai training video above with the women in pink doing drills – you go, girls!

So tell me: Have you ever considered a “Train-cation” in another country? Do you think you’d enjoy learning Muay Thai?
