New Music Spotlight: Norah Jones, Tamar Kaprelian

On the last “New Music Spotlight”, I shared a video from Nikki Yanofsky covering Norah Jones’ “Don’t Know Why”. And as coincidence would have it, this week’s Spotlight features a new cut from Ms. Jones herself!


This is the official music video for “Chasing Pirates”, the first single off Norah Jones’ latest album, The Fall. You can click here to visit her Amazon page and listen to more clips from the album.


Tamar Kaprelian is a new artist who got her break after she won a music contest judged by OneRepublic. This is an acoustic version of her single “New Day”, which was featured on MTV’s The Hills. Look out for Kaprelian’s debut album sometime in 2010.
