Nutrisystem Week 19 Weigh-In

Nutrisystem Week 19 Weigh-In

It’s week 19 on Nutrisystem!

Beeb’s Weigh-In:

Beeb's Weight - Week 19

Starting Weight: 164.5 lbs
Week 19 weight: 142.2 lbs
Total Weight Lost: 22.3 lbs
Goal Weight: 110 lbs

My measurements for this were 11″ on the arms, 38″ on the chest, 32″ on the waist, 39.1″ on the hips, and 18.5″ on the thighs. That’s 1″ up on the arms, .5″ up on the waist, .1″ up on the hips, and .5″ up on the thighs, with the chest remaining the same.

Jai’s Weigh-In:

Jai's Weight - Week 19

Starting Weight: 217.5 lbs
Week 19 Weight: 176.8 lbs
Total Weight Lost: 40.7 lbs
Goal Weight: 158 lbs

Jai’s measurements for this week were 13.3″ on the arms, 39.3″ on the chest, 38.6″ on the waist, 37.3″ on the hips, and 22.4″ on the thighs. That’s .3″ up on the arms, .2″ down on the chest, .6″ up on the waist, .2″ down on the hips, and .4″ up on the thighs.

So this week Jai lost .8 lbs and I lost 1.2 lbs! I’m feeling great and excited to see the end of the 140s in sight. My knees have been doing great – almost every day last week, I saw some new, small improvement. I continue to make big advancements in my flexibility and it’s so exciting! It’s a big relief to now be working more on getting my full range of motion back, rather than working so hard just to be able to walk properly again.

Our workouts were pretty varied last week. When the weather was good we took the opportunity to walk, and when the weather was not-so-good we did indoor workouts. As I mentioned last week, we have some pilates videos, which I think are great because they are challenging but can be taken at your own pace. I’m going to focus on low-impact workouts such as this for a while as I continue to regain my flexibility and strength, and then I’ll resume high-impact exercise at a later point when I feel like my knees are prepared for it.

An important realization I had last week was that it was becoming harder for us to work out not because of the fall weather, but because of the fall schedule. September-December is my busiest work season and this year is more packed than ever before; so I noticed twice last week that Jai and I both skipped out on our workouts not because the weather was bad or we didn’t feel like it, but because we both had so much work to do that we felt like we didn’t have time. This has been something I’ve struggled with every year, and I realize that I have to take a different approach this year in order to maintain my progress (Not to mention keeping my sanity!). I decided that I’m going to set a strict deadline every evening of finishing work no later than 7 PM. That way, I will make working out and getting some rest a priority. If I wait until I’m done with work to exercise…I will be a skeleton, because there’s always more that needs to be done. 😉 If I wasn’t on Nutrisystem right now I know I would be falling back into my usual habit and really overworking myself, so I’m really thankful to have this reason to stick with caring for myself and not work such crazy hours. I keep reminding myself that I will ultimately be much more productive anyway if I care for myself rather than run myself ragged and skip working out!

This week will be a big one for me with a lot of projects, and we also have some activities planned that will be a fun challenge to our fitness. Stay tuned for next week to hear how all that goes!
