This week, it’s a post-flu Nutrisystem weigh-in!
Starting Weight: 164.5 lbs
Week 31 weight: 133 lbs
Total Weight Lost: 31.5 lbs
Goal Weight: 110 lbs

You might have noticed that things were a little quiet around here last week. That’s because Jai and I both caught this “Super flu” that’s going around like wildfire – if you live in the US, you’re probably reading this from under a blanket and thermometer yourself! I get sick a lot, but this one was a doozy even for me. I couldn’t sleep or keep food down and it just kept dragging on and on. Then Jai started coming down with it mid-week, so we’ve both been a hot mess!
So our flu-riddled weigh-in for this week had Jai losing .6 pounds since last week and me losing 2.6 pounds since last week, pushing me past the 30 pounds milestone. I fully anticipate being a pound or so heavier at the next weigh-in, simply because I will actually be healthy and hydrated. Obviously, this last week’s focus was not on weight loss, but on getting better again. I had a hard time eating during the worst of it and when I did, I opted for bread and saltines – I always crave carbs when I’m sick because they soothe my stomach. Obviously there was no working out this week, other than running to the bathroom to be sick.
