Today was “Judgement Day” – no, this has nothing to do with “The Terminator”! I’m talking about choosing the winner of the Make Every Meal a Masterpiece Photo Contest. This is the first time I’ve ever judged a contest and selected a winner myself – I usually run giveaways with winners selected at random. Let me tell you, this was HARD! I loved every single entry and it made me sad having to choose just one! But, I wasn’t alone, as Jai was serving as a judge alongside me.
The way judging worked is that Jai and I reviewed the entries separately and compiled a list of our top 3 favorites on our own. Then, we sat down together and discussed the ones we’d picked and reviewed the entries together to come to a final decision. Can I get a drumroll, please? The winner is…
Jai and I both identified this as a favorite in our separate lists. We chose this because it hit all the marks of presentation, appeal, and creativity: It’s a lovely photo, it looks delicious, and it’s a creative meal idea.

I’ve compiled a list of all the other eligible entries below, because they are all fantastic and you should check them out for some mealtime inspiration.
