Spring is Coming

It’s February on the Oregon coast, which means rain, rain, and more rain. But the weather is starting to improve and I can see our first sign that spring is going to be here soon – in the middle of all these barren branches in my back yard, I spotted this lone flower and several buds ready to pop open. Only a month and a half of winter to go!

   Just beautiful! In the mist of this Nemo storm which is supposed to hit the east coast, you have made my day today with this photo. Maybe our groundhogs prediction will come through after all.

   Oregon is on my list of places to go. Your picture makes it look beautiful, even if it’s raining so much!! Gives me hope to get over this winter.
