Tiny Prints Giveaway – Ends 08/08 – US/CAN

Tiny Prints

I am receiving a Tiny Prints gift pack for writing this post.

Need some help getting ready for back-to-school? One lucky Contest Corner reader will win a Back-to-School organizational bundle from Tiny Prints including gift tag stickers, a notebook & contact cards, so read on!

For families, August means looking ahead and planning for back-to-school. Indeed, the Fall season seems to bring organizational challenges across the board; I may not have to worry about school supplies, but I am in the middle of a huge household change. Now that we’re finished with all the painting, it’s time to put the rooms back together – while this would have been a quick job normally, this time around it is slow going because I am not simply putting things back in each room now that the paint jobs are finished, but I am also completely re-organizing every room. When we cleared out each room to paint, we took the opportunity to get rid of old furniture and decide on better storage methods for different items. Because this means completely re-organizing everything and buying new furniture and parts, it’s been a slow process since we’re also working 90 hours a week and have tons of other commitments, but we’re getting there. In some ways, it will be good timing for organizing places like my office, since August and September are all about the home office supply promotions in stores! My #1 tip for big organizing projects is to start early, look for sales, and if you have items you don’t need, think of a creative way to repurpose them or just get rid of them all together. The less stuff you have, the easier it is to organize it! 😉

If you also have an family organizing need, you may want to look to our friends at Tiny Prints for custom items for back-to-school. Children and teens can pick out personalized items to help out at school, from name labels and lunchbox notes to notebooks and even moving announcements for those seniors leaving for college! Meanwhile, parents can design planners and stationary, and find thoughtful gifts for teachers like mugs and thank-you cards. I ordered my last two sets of business cards via Tiny Prints, and I was impressed!
