I’m inspired by:
I’m inspired by different things in life. My mood changes all the time as I wake up everyday and I try to relax and find peace where I am and focus myself on what my goals are. That leads me into finding inspiration in anything that is in front of me – words, nature, sounds and even stories told by other people.

I realized I wanted to play music when:
I don’t remember much up until I was 7 years old, which is when I started playing tombak (Persian Percussion). I loved playing and learning, but it wasn’t until I started playing violin that I really felt what it means to feel the music and be moved by it. The gracefulness and beauty of the sound and the control of how those sounds were delivered was what draw me in. Since then, my favorite instrument has been the violin and string section instruments.

Four songs you might find on my iPod:
‘Man In the Mirror’ – Michael Jackson, ‘We Will Rock You’ – Queen, ‘Four Seasons’ – Vivaldi, ‘I Will Always Love you’ – Whitney Houston

One word I would use to describe myself:
Detail-oriented.

The best part of being a musician is:
I think the best part of being a musician is the capability to move people with your art and talent. The power of being able to even go as far as changing someones life is not to be taken lightly. People might not really pay attention to how their lives are affected by the type of music they listen to, but the sort of music we are interested in pretty much defines the type of mood we are going to be in. The lyrics of the songs we listen to and sing along with go into our souls and become what we believe in or how we look at the world. You can tell a lot about a person by looking at the top 10 songs in their iPod/music collection.

Right now, I’m most excited about:
Tuesday, May 13th is the release date for my track ‘We Will Rock You’ on Itunes, and right now all I can think about is “why doesn’t this day get here sooner?” I’m very excited and also very nervous. I’m looking forward to hearing peoples comments and what they think about the song. So far I have been getting great feedback from everyone who has heard the track and that has made me very happy. Very excited to see what the future holds.

Something most people don’t know about me is:

Something most people don’t know about me is that I’m extremely sensitive to smell. I am easily affected by exotic scents and therefore I experience different moods which usually lead into the creation of new melodies and music. I believe that everything in this world is connected and if you are able to make those connections you can give birth from one element to another.

One of my happiest moments was:
One of my happiest moments was the day my short film “Success Driven” won Best Soundtrack the AOF Film Festival. After getting nominated out of hundreds of amazing films, which was very exciting, I was already telling my self “this is good enough,” especially since it was my first short film and the very first track I had professionally composed and produced. The moment they called my name, I think you couldn’t have wiped the smile off my face even if you started beating me.

My music is:
During all this time since I’ve been making and preparing my music, I have spoken to a lot of people in the music industry – professionals who’s opinions has a lot of value – and every single one of them have called my music unique and “something new that is not in the market.” Right now the best way to describe my music is saying “it is a mixture of classical, ethnic and electric”

In ten years, I see myself:
In 10 years I see myself as one of many musicians who have had and continue to have a positive impact on the world’s music. The day I can change even one person’s life through my music, I will call my self successful.
