One of my New Year’s resolutions is to continue making time to take care of my skin. A good beauty routine has always been important to me, but we all know how easy it is to stop taking care of yourself when life gets busy. You may recall our friends at Mario Badescu from earlier in the year, when I reviewed a number of their products. I still use the cleanser and toner twice a day, so I’m a satisfied customer! When I was offered the chance to try a bottle of their new Vitamin C Serum, I was intrigued. The aim of this product is to help your skin retain moisture and enhance firmness as well as reducing discoloration. I don’t really have any discoloration that a serum can help me with, but I am concerned with keeping my skin looking as youthful as possible as I age, so I thought this would be fun to try!

The serum is packaged in a dropper bottle, and you apply 3 to 4 drops on your clean skin prior to moisturizer or other products every other day. I’ve only had this product since last week, so it’s too early to really say what it will do or how my skin will react; so next month when I draw the winner, I will provide you with an update as to how it’s gone. My skin can be fussy and react to products after I’ve used them for a while, so I’ve realized it’s good to give a lengthier test! I was a little worried that the vitamin c might be too acidic and burn my skin, but so far, so good. The serum goes on clear and feels nice and fresh on my skin, so we’ll see how I feel after continued use! 🙂
