The BBC would only do this is they knew and liked what the ruselts would be. I think there is more than meets the eye here and I have trouble believing that the BBC suddenly grew a journalistic spine. If there is no followup on this story then the Met Office lied – the BBC will only follow through if they can dig up dirt on the conservative party.
