Sabra Tuscan Herb & Southwest Hummus Review

I’m a big fan of Sabra Hummus – their hummus is among the best I’ve ever had, with a great fusion of flavors. We’ve featured them here on Contest Corner several times before – in fact, we were eating Sabra hummus just last week, using some product coupons that I got the last time that I worked with them!

So I was excited to have a chance to taste test some complimentary samples of their very newest varieties, Southwest Garden Hummus and Tuscan Herb Garden Hummus. Since I had just made a loaf of bread when these arrived, I thought I’d set out a little tray for lunch and serve the hummus with bread cubes so that Jai and I could sample the new flavors – like a smaller version of the hummus party I hosted a few years back!

These new flavors did not disappoint – they are oh so tasty. Sabra really made sure that each of these varieties have a large, flavorful center which give each hummus a bold taste. Sabra Southwest Hummus is deliciously spicy thanks to the inclusion of red peppers and jalapenos, with a black bean and corn center that Tex-Mex fans are sure to appreciate. The Tuscan Herb Hummus has a taste that is reminiscent of a really good pasta sauce with a kick, with its flavor-packed center of tomatoes with spinach, carrots, and red peppers seasoned with oregano and basil. When forced to choose, Jai said that the Tuscan Herb is his very favorite thanks to its spicy flavor, but it was hard to choose because we enjoyed both of these so much. In my opinion, Sabra Hummus always does a great job of infusing delectable flavors into their hummus, and they have outdone themselves with these new varieties.
