CharcoCaps – Review & Giveaway

CharcoCaps – Review & Giveaway

Tummy troubles got you down? Well, quit your belly-achin’ and read this post, because one Contest Corner reader will win a box of CharcoCaps!

About CharcoCaps

Here’s a little information on CharcoCaps from their press release:

“CharcoCaps is a natural, easy-to-swallow, over-the-counter activated charcoal capsule that stimulates and supports the body’s own defenses against intestinal gas. While we all experience gas about 14 times a day, CharcoCaps helps to naturally relieve gas discomfort, pressure and bloating, which helps absorb gas and the embarrassing odor. It’s also great to take when flying since it helps eliminate ‘jet bloat’. Health tips, videos and a downloadable food diary are also available at www.charcocaps.com.”

I often get stomachaches due to stress, so I thought I would give this a try. I’ve taken CharcoCaps a few times, and it did seem to help when my tummy was upset. There’s no “cure-all” solution, of course, and the effectiveness of this seemed to vary for me; but I will take it again the next time I feel poorly. Obviously, I’m not a doctor, so consult with yours before starting any treatments!

  1. After visitng their site I learned that: If your physician recommends that you increase your fiber intake, do this slowly. Fiber breaks down in the intestines and causes gas.

  2. When flying, if you do eat gassy food, take over-the-counter CharcoCaps® Homeopathic AntiGas Formula immediately, so you don’t inflate like a bag of pretzels as you reach cruising altitude. The Carbo Vegetabilis (activated charcoal) will stimulate the body’s defense system against the discomfort of intestinal gas. Travelers sitting near you on the plane will be grateful.

  3. The site recommends you keep a gas diary and if gas has become more than just an occasional nuisance, try to determine if your gas is related to a particular food by noting the volume of gas within six hours of your last meal.
