Letter To Heaven: Songs of Faith & Inspiration

Dolly Parton’s latest release Letter to Heaven: Songs of Faith & Inspiration, just dropped on May 4th. This album includes all ten tracks off her 1971 gospel album Golden Streets of Glory, as well as seven other songs.

Always true to herself, Parton sings with heartfelt conviction in these songs which pay tribute to her faith. This collection will appeal to both long-time fans and casual listeners who enjoy inspirational music. I reviewed the “Dolly” box set back in December, and I think this would be a good companion piece for die-hard Parton fans, as it contains many songs not found on “Dolly” – including the previously unreleased “Would You Know Him”.

Letter to Heaven: Songs of Faith & Inspiration is available on Amazon for $10.99. Sony Music forwarded me a promotional copy of this album for review.
