A few Christmases ago, I won this cool remote control car with a “Spy camera” on it that allows the viewer to watch live footage as you drive the little car around. I gave it to Jai, and when he unwrapped it, we realized that we couldn’t try it out because it had totally escaped me to get enough batteries. Duh! Now, since we’re adults this wasn’t a big deal, but things could have gone south quickly if this had been a gift for a child and they weren’t able to use it! So this holiday season, make sure to stock up on batteries for all those electronic presents – stuff ’em in a stocking or put them in drawers, but either way, make sure you have them!

How cool is that? And once again, batteries saved the day – as soon as I got them, I ended up putting them in my camera when I realized that all my rechargeables had gone dead. Oh, speaking of batteries, I need a few right now. Especially when you have kids and most of their items need batteries. So, with the Holidays here, I need to get a few and stock up.
I have done that in the past forgot the batteries. Thank goodness that Walgreens was open to save the day!
