This is the perfect set for any fan of the trilogy, giving you all three movies in both their theatrical and unrated versions along with deleted scenes and bonus content. This set retails for $39.99, so it’s a really affordable way to buy all three movies and get all the special features. There are a lot of different versions of each movie out there – Fifty Shades Darker had special editions at different retailers with different bonus content depending on what you bought. I’d been meaning to get the second and third movies and this set seemed like the best one overall to me in terms of the extra content. I received an advance copy to check out, but unfortunately, my Blu-ray player chose the worst possible moment to break – what a tease! – so I can’t report as to whether or not the deleted scene in Fifty Shades Freed includes that infamous moment that was edited out of the theatrical version. Once I can finally play the disc, I’ll update and let you know, because that’s just the kind of hard-hitting journalism we do here on Contest Corner.
