I love a good red wine, so I was pleased to receive a complimentary bottle of Vasari from Fratelli Barba. The Vasari is a red from the Abruzzo region in Italy, from a winery run by the brothers, or Fratelli, Barba. It’s a strong red – almost bitter, but I quite enjoyed it; Jai told me it reminded him of the first wine he ever tasted. I think this would be a good one to serve at holiday get-togethers with a nice meal, to enjoy while wrapping those presents late at night, or to gift to someone on your list. And since it retails for under $10, it certainly won’t break the bank!

My in-laws are huge wine drinkers, this will be a great gift for them from us and we are always stumped on what to get them! Never considered wine, thanks for the idea!
