A little less than a year after Jai and I started dating, his brother met a wonderful woman that became one of my very good friends. We’ve known each other for close to a decade now (!), so when they announced their upcoming marriage, I was excited to “Officially” welcome her into the family, although it was just a formality since I already thought of her as family! If you’ve been following my wedding blog, then you saw the bachelorette party which I threw for her earlier in the month. And a few days before the party, I received a “Friendship Kit” from Merci Chocolates in the mail – can you say “Perfect timing”? What better way to put this to use than for a party for friends!
Having Merci Chocolates delivered to me was ideal timing, since I was hosting a wine tasting at the party and was going to pair one of the sparking red wines with chocolates anyway. Let me tell you, even though there was a ton of food at this party, these delicious chocolates were one of the first things to go – a big hit with the guests! YUM.
My kit also contained these fun items, which I thought would be perfect to hand out as party game prizes! I gave them out as prizes during the “Bachelorette raffle” that I hosted – you can click here to read all about that.

I also received a $25 Target gift card that I was going to use to pick up tablecloths for the party, but since we don’t have a Target nearby I didn’t end up making it to one. I’m sure it will come in handy for another party!
My now-sister-in-law has been a wonderful friend for a long time. We’ve had many fun adventures and good times together, and her kind friendship deserves this “Thank you” in the form of this party I threw to honor how much she means to me. This fun kit from Merci added another special touch that we all enjoyed!
