Giveaway: The Secrets of the Immortal Nicholas Flamel

Giveaway: The Secrets of the Immortal Nicholas Flamel

Last month, I introduced you to a fantasy book series called The Secrets of the Immortal Nicholas Flamel. If you have kids or tweens who enjoy tales of myth and magic, you might want to check out this series. In fact, adults who are fans of this genre are also likely to enjoy it! So what is Secrets of the Immortal all about?
From the official Secrets of the Immortal website:
“A world where immortal alchemists battle undying magicians, where creatures from myth still survive and the characters from legends are alive.

More than half a millenia ago, Nicholas Flamel, a poor French bookseller, came across the Book of Abraham the Mage. Written in an ever-changing language was the entire knowledge of humanity. The book told of an ancient race that predated mankind, the Elders, and contained within it and extraordinary prophecy: that one day a pair of twins would come, either to save the world or destroy it. “
The latest book in the series, The Sorceress, was just released on May 26th. You can also take on The Alchemyst Challenges of the Elder, a fun companion website filled with games,  puzzles and adventure.

  2. I enjoyed the games, I can definitely see myself going back again for a long visit to investigate the site further.

  3. Wow this is really cool!

The graphics are awesome the music is great and the puzzle is fun!

  4. I loved the part where you had to memorize the order you pressed on those colorful things. I have no idea what they’re called.

My best friend Jennifer would LOVE these books!! I hope I win them for her. She just loves Michael Scott. No offense but I didn’t really care for them.

  5. I really liked the “teen” aspect of this game. Since I am older than that, but not good at games such as this, this one is still a challenge to me…and I enjoyed trying it.

  6. I loved the music in the background during the Alchemysts Game! It’s very soothing.

  11. Thanks for the heads-up on these books. We will definitely be on the look out for these!
The game on that site is addictive!

  12. I thought that the best part about the game was the graphics, but the gameplay seemed a little bit simplistic. I was expecting more “adventure” than puzzle.
