Holiday Gift Guide 2009: Name Your Tune Personalized CD – Review & Giveaway

Name Your Tune produce a charming line of personalized children’s CDs. Combining well-loved songs like “Old Macdonald” and “If You’re Happy And You Know It” with some new favorites, each song is customized to your child, incorporating their name into each tune. And one lucky Contest Corner will win their own personalized CD, just in time for holiday gift giving!

My Take:

I wish there had been something like this around when I was a kid! Every child loves personalized items that feature their name, but most “personalized” items have a limited amount of common names available – I certainly never saw anything with “Beeb” written on it when I was little! But thanks to Name Your Tune, children with unusual names can now have their own treasured CD dedicated to them! Every Name Your Tune CD works your child’s name in to all 14 tracks, with their name featured over 80 times.

What’s even more fun about this CD is that not only can you specify the name, you can also specify variations of each name – for example, each song may vary from singing “Jenny” to “Jennifer” to “Jen”. When Name Your Tune asked who I would like to customize a CD for, I knew right away that Jai’s stepsister Cilla would enjoy this. When I received the CD, I was immediately taken by the adorable stick figure artwork. The songs are very sweet and were obviously made with a lot of love and sincerity. Each song alternates from “Cilla” to “Priscilla”, which I know she will get a kick out of. I was also able to customize the CD label, so the disc reads: “Merry Christmas 2009 Priscilla – Love, Beeb and Jai”. Won’t this be a treasured keepsake to have for years to come?

Another thing I love is that a portion of each CD sale is donated to “Hear Here”, a non-profit charitable foundation that purchases hearing aids for children. Isn’t that wonderful?

  1. I love the personalized treasure box. My best friend’s little guy could use to help clean up his room!

  2. I so need the coat rack. The kiddos are using the dining room chairs right now. And that can only lead to disaster…or at least me having to wash a coat or two. Flying milk happens a lot at Cocklebur Junction!

  3. We so need the coat rack! The kiddos are using the backs of the dining room chairs. And at any moment, flying milk could happen. Which would make more laundry for Momma. Which would send her to the bathroom with the oreos. And her hips just don’t need that. Ahhh….
