All You Magazine Review

All You Magazine - April Edition

If you follow my coupon blog, Super Coupon Girl, you’ve probably heard me discuss All You magazine quite frequently. This magazine, available at Walmart or by subscription, is noted for its inclusion of many coupons in each issue. You may also recall that I recently participated in All You & Champions For Kids’ “Couponing For Good” campaign, using my frugal skills and coupons from last month’s issue to buy food, clothing, and personal care items for local charitable organizations. I’ve had a subscription to All You for about two years, and I also got Jai a subscription during a special deal last year, so we’ve been getting double issues every month. I just realized that both our subscriptions had run out – but conveniently enough, right around the same time, I was contacted by All You to review their April issue. And what’s more frugal than scoring a free issue by reviewing it here? 😉

As a coupon-clipper, my motivation for subscribing to All You has been to add its coupons to my stash. To get an idea of what sort of coupons All You offers and how many are in each issue, click here to check out a page-by-page listing of each coupon in this month’s issue – $44.64 worth of coupons total. Bear in mind, often these coupons are for products found at Walmart, since the magazine is sold at Walmart, so I’m not always able to use all of them since the nearest Walmart to me is 50 miles away. (Sniff Sniff!)

Although my reason for buying All You is the coupons, I thoroughly enjoy all the other content that comes in each issue. Penny pinchers will probably appreciate the amount of content that is dedicated to saving money; and each issue also includes recipes, lifestyle tips, advice columns, articles about real families, and more. All You’s recipes always look delicious, and are made with busy/frugal people in mind. This month’s issue features adorable cupcake decorating ideas – too cute!

Two sections I enjoyed this month were the skin care tips and ideas for diet foods. There were a few tidbits that I liked, such as hints for post-workout snacks and ideas for maximizing moisturizer applied at night. There was also a feature with touching stories of families whose lives have been affected by “Hidden” illnesses – conditions that are not always outwardly apparent, but have devastating effects.

Anyone who is interested in clipping coupons, recipes, homemaking tips, lifestyle articles, and human interest stories is likely to find All You a fun read. For example of some of the content you’ll find in All You, check out these online excerpts:

Article: How to Cook with Spinach
Article: Daily Deals Tips

All You retails for $2.49 per issue, and is also available via subscription. I previously bought my subscription through QSP, which is offering a deal currently for a 2-year subscription for $30.

  1. This looks like a great magazine! I love to learn about different ways of cooking along with tips! I am also into couponing so this is great!

  2. I’ve actually never bought this magazine before but every keeps talking about how great it is, and that it has really good coupons. I definitely need to get me one.

  3. I love All You. As a matter of fact, my nephew is selling magazines for his elementary school and I am going to purchase a subscription rather than having to run to the store each month.

  4. This looks like a great one. I get my mom a new subscription to magazines for Mother’s Day. It gives her something new each month instead of only once a year. I’ll check this one out further.
