Grandma’s dog Bob is a very loved member of the family, so I like to bring over treats and food for him whenever I can. I recently had a chance to check out NoviPet, a line of supplements for both dogs and cats. I received a box of their Multi Vitamin Chews, a supplement that contains everything from calcium to zinc. Grandma told me she had actually been thinking that she ought to get some supplements for Bob, so it was a happy surprise when I brought her these!
When we took these out to the backyard, Bob got really excited because he knew it was something edible.
And I mean really excited! 😉
We weren’t so sure what Bob would think once he ate the chew, since it is a vitamin supplement, but he scarfed it down like any other tasty treat – they’re obviously made to be yummy for dogs! The instructions said that dogs 100 pounds or more should have 3 chews a day, but we just started him with one and will let Grandma determine how best to phase them in. Bob loved them and Grandma was happy to have vitamins for him, so all in all I’d day it was received very well!
