Earlier in the month, I introduced Contest Corner’s new giveaway submission form. This new system makes it much easier to submit & publish quality contest listings, and as a result, we’ve been receiving even more submissions. This means that we’ve been able to publish ten times as many giveaway listings, which is very exciting! I know my readers love these contest listings – I’ve even heard from readers who thanked me for linking to giveaways that they ended up winning!
However, because of this influx of submissions, I’ve noticed that most of the home page is now dominated by contest listings. As a result, a lot of Contest Corner’s other content, like our own giveaways, articles, reviews, and so on, get pushed down to the bottom or off the home page entirely. I’m concerned that readers might glance at our site, see nothing but contest listings, and assume that’s all we have to offer. I don’t want my readers to miss our other content, so I’m toying with the idea of possibly creating a separate section on the site for the contest listings.
So that’s where YOU come in! I want to know your thoughts on this and hear what you would like to see. I take reader feedback very seriously and will decide what direction to take Contest Corner in based on what you have to say. Just answer the quick poll below and let me know what you think!
