Review: The Tea Caddy

Review: The Tea Caddy

The Tea Caddy offers an array of tea, chocolate, and accessories to make your teatime enjoyable. Carrying a wide assortment of tea blends in all sorts of flavors, there’s something for everyone – from green tea blends to bold flavors like Tangerine Vanilla Yogurt.

But when it came time to choose which ones I’d like to review, the choice was simple: The Tea Caddy “Classics” collection of Earl Grey, English Breakfast and Irish Breakfast tea. As a brit living in the US, finding good tea can be a struggle for me. In fact, I stuff my suitcase full of teabags whenever I go home to visit, and often have my dad mail me care packages! So I was interested to sample The Tea Caddy’s blends and see how they stacked up.

The Earl Grey and Irish Breakfast were both the loose leaf variety, but came with a set of T-Sacs so that I could choose to make my own teabags instead of using an infuser. What a great idea!
So I put the kettle on and sat down to enjoy a nice cuppa.

Earl Grey Loose Leaf Tea: A very aromatic tea – a wonderful scent greeted me when I opened the bag. Jai and I both enjoyed this blend; it has a rich, robust flavor. Mmmmm!

Irish Breakfast Loose Leaf Tea: This a delicious blend of bold flavors. I loved the traditional taste and so did Jai.

English Breakfast Tea: This was the closest to a taste of home. A very good, quality black tea.

A nice cup of Irish Breakfast tea with milk and sugar

All three of these teas were excellent. We really enjoyed tasting them, and are looking forward to the next cup! So there you have it – The Tea Caddy gets the stamp of approval from this fussy English tea drinker.
