Ruff House Art Review

I know it’s only August, but I’m already thinking about Christmas. I’m the kind of person who shops for gifts year-round – and I know that December will be here before we know it, so the more prepared I am, the better! Lately I’ve been thinking about items that would make fun stocking stuffers. I was recently introduced to Ruff House Art, a letterpress & design studio that offers everything from wedding invitations to couches made out of bathtubs. I absolutely love finding retailers that make unique, quirky products! And when I saw their selection of coasters, I knew immediately that these would make ideal stocking stuffers. Why, you ask? They carry Big Lebowski coasters.

How awesome is that?! The Big Lebowski is one of Jai’s favorite movies – in fact, it was the first movie we watched together on one of our early dates. In addition to the Lebowski coasters, they have a selection of other fun, hip designs, including coasters boasting the Reddit alien. And since Jai is a Redditor that loves The Big Lebowski, I knew these would make perfect stocking stuffers for him!

Ruff House Art sent me a complimentary set of both designs, and they are just as awesome in real life. The Lebowski set retails for $12 and features a variety of memorable quotes from the movie, along with prints of The Dude’s face and bowling balls; the Reddit set is available for $10 and features the site’s cute alien mascot. Not only will these make for a one-of-a-kind, unexpected gift, they are also practical – and I love gifts that serve a purpose!
