Smarty Toes – Review

Smarty Toes are a unique company that specialize in men’s dress socks. Smarty Toes are different from other dress socks, because each pair has its color spelled out and woven right into the toe for ease of matching. “After numerous phone calls from my traveling husband complaining that he once again showed up at work wearing two different colored socks, I realized there needed to be an easy way to match dark-colored socks,” says Susan James, who founded Smarty Toes with her husband Michael.

I recently received a box of Smarty Toes socks to review, and my fiance was very happy! He loves getting new socks, and was in need of a few new pairs. When I pointed out that each sock is color-coded, he was extremely impressed. It makes a lot of sense, too – dark colors are very similar to one another, and it can be quite hard to tell which is which.

Jai has been wearing these socks ever since they arrived, and he loves them! He says that they are more comfortable and breathable than the last package of socks that he bought. I love the attractive selection of colors and their versatility for business attire and formal events as well as day-to-day wear. The only catch it that, guys, you need to make sure you remember to read the words on the socks before you put them on – Jai ended up wearing on one sock that said “Brown” and one sock that said “Black” because he forgot to check! 😉

All in all, I think Smarty Toes are a great product – they are very comfortable, appropriate for both formal and casual wear, and very clever with their creative labeling.
