Special One-Day Twitter Giveaway!

ETA: There was interest in this giveaway, but not enough entries to give away the $5 gift card – a lot of people aren’t able to send Twitpics easily. So I have made it simpler to enter and extended the deadline!

Here’s how to enter:

1. Tweet the following sentence: “Add your userpic to our Twitter collage and you could win a gift card: http://tiny.cc/qIEIQ #SwaptreeRocks RT to win!”

2. You tweet will be entered into the drawing. That’s it!

3. At the end of the contest, I will assemble the entrants’ Twitter userpics into a collage and display it with the winner’s announcement. By sending this tweet, you grant full permission for your userpic to be republished.

3. If at least 50 people tweet, I will give away a $5 Amazon.com gift code. If 100 people or more tweet, I will also giveaway a $10 gift card to your choice of either Barnes & Noble, Bath & Body Works, BP gas, Home Depot, KMart, JCPenny, Old Navy, OR Starbucks. So feel free to re-tweet this contest! Winners will be drawn by Random.org.

4. Contest starts now and ends at 10 AM, PST, on July 25th. $5 gift card giveaway is open to anyone who can redeem Amazon gift cards. I will use my MyPoints account to order and send the $10 gift card, so regretfully that will be limited to US and Canadian residents.

I am hosting this special contest today because of a website called Swaptree, a website where you can trade CDs, DVDs, books, and video games that you don’t want for ones that you do. Swaptree are hosting a giveaway through July 30th, where they will give away one iPhone and one Wii every day. You can win the iPhone just by tweeting with the #swaptree hashtag; the Wii will be awarded by the person who most creatively promotes Swaptree that day.
