When I was growing up, I used to read mystery books like The Hardy Boys, Nancy Drew, and Trixie Belden. Now there’s a new series for the millenials to enjoy: The B.T. and Jimmy Adventure Series by Raymond C Perkins, Jr. The book’s protagonists are two teen boys who sleuth out a historical mystery in “The Mystery of The Silver Statue” and continue with their adventures in the sequel, “The Mystery of The Brick Kingdom”. B.T. is a cancer survivor who is dealing with both growing up and the side effects that the treatments have left him with, and through the book, he gains confidence in himself and begins to recognize all of his strengths. The author wrote these books to cope with his own son’s illness, which inspired the main character of the story. Not only is this an inspirational story for any reader, but 50% of all book sales will be donated to the American Association for Cancer Research.

I’m going to see if my son would like these series. I know he liked 39 clues which was about mystery and history.
I totally used to read mystery books too! These would be awesome for my nephew.
