Thankfully, I’ve never my home broken into (My car is another story…do they make security systems for cars?). I remember when I was about 7, we had a close call at our family home. My parents and I had gone out of town for a few days, and when we got back our neighbor told us about some suspicious-looking people that were hanging around our house – fortunately, her presence scared them off, but we could see evidence of where they had tromped around our yard.
