But I don’t have to go far to visit one of the best, because the Portland International Auto Show is practically in my back yard! What to Expect at The 2020 Portland Auto Show
The Portland International Auto Show is a local tradition that has been taking place for 111 years. This year’s show will be held at the Oregon Convention Center from February 20th through the 23rd, and makes a great winter activity for the whole family. You’ll be able to view over 600 vehicles, from everyday drivers to eye-popping luxury cars. Learn about the latest and greatest car tech, check out virtual reality simulators, and watch the little ones have a blast at Kids Zone. Pssst: Kids get in free on February 23rd!
Plus, us sweepers know that auto shows are a fantastic place to find all kinds of contests to enter. This year, the Portland Auto Show is hosting a new car giveaway, where one very lucky person will drive home a 2020 Honda CR-V LX AWD! Visit the Pamplin Media Group exhibit at the Portland Auto Show for your chance to enter. You can also enter to win a 55″ big screen TV by guessing the make, model, year and mileage of a crushed vehicle at the Schnitzer Steel display. Statistically speaking, on-site giveaways at conventions typically have better odds because there’s a smaller pool of entrants than you’d find in a nationwide sweepstakes, so I always make a point to enter these giveaways!
