It was a beautiful day, and we kept the back door open so that guests could mingle on the deck. Suddenly, this little bird flew into the house and landed on my scanner! Thankfully, we got him back outside, and he was OK after the shock wore off.

Hi everyone! Thanks for all the nice comments and birthday wishes! 🙂 Faythe, you are correct – the mementos came from his Grandma, who gave us a box filled with cards and favors from his 1st birthday. There’s a candle in there that still has frosting on it!
