I’m inspired by: art whether it’s a painting at a museum or brilliant architecture. I truly believe that by appreciating the beauty in art, we can tap into our own creativity and make the world a little bit better.

I realized I wanted to play music when: I was a little girl singing in the children’s choir at church.

Four songs you might find on my personal playlist: “Put the Message in the Box” by World Party; “Secret Heart” by Ron Sexsmith, “Breathe” by Maria McKee and “Supermarket Flowers” by Ed Sheeran

One word I would use to describe myself: Positive

The best part of being a musician is: being able to do what I love.

Right now, I’m most excited about: my new album called “Let’s All Sing.” The moving force behind this project was ensuring that classic children’s songs stay preserved and that families continue to spend time together enjoying music.

Something most people don’t know about me is: that I’m a beekeeper; I harvest our own honey and make homemade lip balm from beeswax.

One of my happiest moments was: travelling with my three kids and husband in Italy. One of the best memories was all of us jumping in the clear water inside the Blue Grotto.

My music is: a core part of my identity and I feel so much pride and happiness when given the opportunity to share this part of me with others, especially with children.

In ten years, I see myself: singing in a café in Paris.
